Frequently Asked Questions
Do you require meet and greets?
Meet and greets are highly suggested as we want to ensure the safety of all the pets staying here. Meet and greets typically take place in our fenced in backyard. This gives your pet time to smell around and get adjusted before meeting other dogs.
What do I need to bring?
We like to keep it simple. We only need your pets food, bowl and collar. We supply leashes, water bowls and beds.
Where do they play and sleep?
We have a large fenced in yard where your pup can play, explore, rest and potty. When it’s time for bed, pups have the choice of sleeping in any of the main rooms in the house (kitchen, living room or bedroom with us). If they love to cuddle, our bed is their bed, otherwise we have dog beds throughout the house.
Do you provide round the clock care?
We provide your pet the most attention as possible while continuing our daily routines. This means we might run out to go grocery shopping or grab dinner. Your pet may not be supervised 24/7, but are not left home alone for more than 4 hours at a time.
How do I pay?
We will send invoice via email and payments can be paid checking account, card or cash. Payment required by drop off.
Will I get to visit inside the home?
Safety and wellness are our top priorities, which means keeping free of new people entering our house while other pets are here. We are able to offer pictures or virtual tour of home upon request.
Do you have experience with medical pets?
Yes, we both have experienced animals who needed short term - end of life meds. Emily our oldest pup who lives at my parents had seizures when she was younger and now has vestibular syndrome which causes dizziness and being off balance. Spirit who passed December 2022 was on multiple medications for heart failure and DCM. We have had sick foster puppies who needed antibiotics. We also give our pups monthly heartworm, flea and tick meds. If your pet needs meds, we are more than happy to administer them.
Do you crate dogs?
We do whatever you tell us to do. If you feel more comfortable with your pup being crated when we run out, we have crates to do so. If your pup has never been crated and doesn’t need too, then we won’t. We try not to do anything outside their normal routine.
